HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Leopards pounced on the Anchorwomen in the first set, winning, 25-8.

• The Anchorwomen held a three-point, 10-7, lead in the second set. Wentworth would soon thereafter go on an eight-point run and close out RIC, 25-17.

• RIC and WIT traded runs to open the third frame and the Leopards again found their stroke late, winning 25-17 again.

• Senior outside hitter
Amelia Murphy (North Attleboro, Mass.) contributed eight kills. That brings her career total to 999, one shy of joining the 1,000-kill club.

Ashley Cao (Morrisville, N.C.) and classmate outside hitter
Ema Thompson (Lewiston, Idaho) registered double-digit kills for the Leopards with 12 and 10, respectively.
