Providence, R.I.--Four Anchorwomen were honored on Senior Day as the Rhode Island College women's tennis team defeated Little East foe UMass Dartmouth, 9-0, at the RIC Tennis Center on Tuesday afternoon.

Clara Siegmund (Pomfret, Conn.) were recognized, along with their families, to commemorate their respective careers as part of Senior Day.

• RIC swept through doubles to take a 3-0 advantage as freshman
Erica Botelho (Greenville, R.I.) wrapped the match up with a decisive win in No. 3 singles (6-0, 6-2).

• Bobola picked up a win at No. 6 singles (6-2, 6-2).

• Gonick paired with Botelho at No. 3 doubles and earned an 8-0 shutout victory. She followed that up with a straight set (6-1, 6-1) performance at No. 4 singles.

• Lisi paired with junior
Lauren Macera (Cranston, R.I.) for an 8-2 victory at No. 1 doubles. She then battled her way through one of her most competitive singles matches of the year, earning a straight set (6-2, 6-1) victory at No. 1 singles.

• Siegmund won her match at No. 5 singles (6-1, 6-0).

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will close Little East play at UMass Boston on Saturday, Oct. 15 (2 p.m.). The winner of the match will claim the outright Little East Regular Season title and hold homecourt advantage throughout the upcoming 2022 Little East Women's Tennis Championship.
