Clara Siegmund (Pomfret, Conn.) earned a straight set (6-2, 6-2) win at No. 4 singles to clinch a 9-0 win over Regis for the Rhode Island College women's tennis team in their season-opener on Tuesday afternoon.

• The Anchorwomen swept all three doubles matches, highlighted by freshman
Amara Devine's (Greenville, R.I.) first collegiate win, to take a 3-0 advantage. Devine and classmate
Amiah Sommer (Cumberland, R.I.) picked up an 8-4 win at No. 3 doubles.
• Junior
Jenna Lisi (Cranston, R.I.) did not lose a game (6-0, 6-0) at No. 1 singles to set Siegmund up for the clinching win.
• Senior
Victoria Vittori (New Bedford, Mass.) paired with Lisi for an 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles and then won (6-4, 7-5) at No. 2 singles as the duo each went 2-0 on the day.
