Norton, Mass.—Junior outside hitter Amelia Murphy (North Attleboro, Mass.) registered a team-best nine kills, while junior libero Wynter Conlon (East Walpole, Mass.) posted 12 digs, as the Rhode Island College women's volleyball team lost, 3-0 (25-23, 25-11, 25-19), vs. Farmingdale State in second round action of the Wheaton Invite on Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC came up two points shy (25-23) in the first set. Farmingdale took the second frame decisively (25-11) and sewed up the win with a six-point (25-19) victory in set three.
 
• Sophomore setter Aubrey St. Onge (Tilton, N.H.) posted 11 digs.
 
• Sophomore middle hitter Angelly Polanco (Providence, R.I.) had five kills and three block assists.
