Willimantic, Conn.—Freshman Anna Vygoder (Lincoln, R.I.) placed first in both the 50-yard breaststroke (34.18) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:49.45) as the Rhode Island College women's swimming team  fell to Eastern Connecticut, 168-71, at the Warriors Sports Center on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• In addition to her two first place finishes, Vygoder finished second in both the 200-yard medley relay (2:06.72) and the 200-yard IM (2:33.78).
 
• Freshman Meghan Laflamme (Smithfield, R.I.) placed second in the 200-yard medley relay (2:06.72), 50-yard backstroke (31.97) and the 200-yard backstroke (2:36.94) and third in the 50-yard freestyle (27.71).
 
• Freshman Marta Matzko (Rumford, R.I.) finished second in both the 200-yard medley relay (2:06.72) and the 200-yard butterfly (2:59.92), third in the 50-yard butterfly (34.48) and fifth in the 100-yard freestyle (1:10.83).
 
• Sophomore Mary McBride (Rumford, R.I.) placed second in the 200-yard medley relay (2:06.72), fourth in both the 500-yard freestyle (7:07.94) and the 100-yard freestyle (1:08.58) and fifth in the 200-yard freestyle (2:38.80) .
 
•  Freshman Hannah Rocha (Cranston, R.I.) finished third in the 200-yard freestyle relay (2:13.32), fifth in the 500-yard freestyle (8:42.89) and sixth in both the 100-yard freestyle (1:22.83) and the 200-yard freestyle (3:09.24).
 
• Freshman Rebecca Fyrer (Cranston, R.I.) placed third in both the 200-yard freestyle relay (2:13.32) and 200-yard IM (2:50.42), fourth in the 200-yard freestyle (2:31.97) and fifth in the 200-yard backstroke (2:45.75).
 
•Freshman Allison Picchioni (Cumberland, R.I.) placed third in the 200-yard freestyle relay (2:13.32), fourth in both the 50-yard backstroke (36.44) and the 50-yard butterfly (36.25) and sixth in the 200-yard backstroke (2:50.00).
 
• Freshman Marie Sinyan (North Providence, R.I.) finished second in the 50-yard breaststroke (37.84), third in both the 200-yard freestyle relay (2:13.32) and the 200-yard breaststroke (3:13.60) and fifth in the 50-yard freestyle (30.28).
