Sidney Almeida (Cranston, R.I.) finished first in the three events as the Rhode Island College women's swimming team defeated UMass Dartmouth, 154-65, on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Almeida finished first in the 200-yard medley relay (2:20.05), 50-yard breaststroke (39.36) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:24.34) and third in the 200-yard IM (3:02.30).
 
• Sophomore 
Meaghan Aucoin (Swansea, Mass.) finished first in the 100-yard backstroke (1:07.52), 50-yard butterfly (33.64) and the 400-yard freestyle relay (4:17.16) and second in the 200-yard freestyle (2:20.90).
 
• Junior 
Wenona Alexander (Warwick, R.I.) finished first in 500-yard freestyle (6:26.96), 1,000-yard freestyle (12:44.87) and the 400-yard freestyle relay (4:17.16) and second in the 100-yard freestyle (1:04.21).
 
• Sophomore 
Meghan Laflamme (Smithfield, R.I.) finished first in the 50-yard backstroke (31.60), 50-yard freestyle (27.67) and the 400-yard freestyle relay (4:17.16) and second in the 100-yard backstroke (1:08.64).
 
• Junior 
Mary McBride (Rumford, R.I.) finished first in the 400-yard freestyle relay (4:17.16),  third in both the 200-yard freestyle (2:30.76) and the 100-yard freestyle (1:05.46) and fifth in the 50-yard butterfly (37.01).
 
• Sophomore 
Marta Matzko (Rumford, R.I.) finished first the 100-yard butterfly (1:23.15), second in the 200-yard IM (2:48.59) and third in the 1,000-yard freestyle (14:40.69).
 
• Junior 
Brooke Galbraith (Smithfield, R.I.) finished first in the 200-yard medley relay (2:20.05), second in the 50-yard backstroke (35.70), third in the 50-yard butterfly (35.53) and fourth in the 50-yard freestyle (31.26).
 
• Sophomore 
Allison Picchioni (Cumberland, R.I.) finished first in the 200-yard medley relay (2:20.05), second in the  500-yard freestyle (7:19.15) and third in the 50-yard backstroke (36.40).
 
• Sophomore 
Marie Sinyan (North Providence, R.I.) finished first in the 200-yard medley relay (2:20.05), third in both the 50-yard breaststroke (44.03) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:34.02) and sixth in the 50-yard freestyle (33.97).
