Serena Bobola (Cranston, R.I) didn't lose a game all day as she paired with junior
Clara Siegmund (Pomfret, Conn.) to earn an 8-0 win at No. 2 doubles, then registered a shutout in No. 3 singles (6-0, 6-0), to lead Rhode Island College past Salem State, 7-2, in Little East action on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchorwomen competed without No. 1 singles and doubles starter
Jenna Lisi (Cranston, R.I.).
• RIC went 2-1 in doubles, winning the first two matches with 8-0 shutouts. Freshmen
Amiah Sommer (Cumberland, R.I.) and
Amara Devine (Greenville, R.I) picked up the victory at third doubles.
• The visitors quickly won three singles matches to secure the club's 11
th win of the year. Junior
Sarah Gonick (Kingston, Mass.) and sophomore
Jaimi Vaillancourt (Tiverton, R.I.) each picked up a shutout (6-0, 6-0) at No. 5 and 6 singles, respectively, and Siegmund did the same at No. 3 singles to close out the win.
• Rhode Island College went 3-0 this week, with all three victories coming against Little East competition.
