Victoria Vittori (New Bedford, Mass.) won in straight sets at No. 2 singles and paired with junior
Jenna Lisi (Cranston, R.I.) for an 8-0 win at first doubles as the Rhode Island College women's tennis team blanked UMass Boston, 9-0, on Senior Day at the RIC Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Vittori and her family were honored prior to the start of the match as part of Senior Day 2021. She was dominant in a (6-1, 6-0) victory at second doubles.
• With the win, the Anchorwomen clinch the outright 2021 Little East Regular Season Championship. RIC had already clinched at least a share of the title and wrapped up the homecourt advantage for the upcoming LEC Championship in a 9-0 win over UMass Boston on Oct. 12.
• 12 of RIC's 14 victories this fall have been 9-0 shutouts.
• Lisi continued her dominance at No. 1 singles with a (6-1, 6-1) victory.
