Providence, R.I.—Head Coach Debbie Johnson's (Career record: 3-2; .600) team saw action in three competitions on the year. The Anchorwomen placed third (three teams) at the Husson Invitational with a team score of 825 (425, 400) on Sept. 21-22.
RIC also saw action in two competitions vs. Westfield State and Johnson & Wales, but did not score as a team. The Anchorwomen saw their season cut short due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak.
Senior Jean Marie Arnold (Wakefield, RI) averaged a score of 99.5 in three competitions on the season. Arnold shot a season-best 98 in the second round of the Husson Invitational on Sept. 22 and again at Westfield State with Johnson & Wales on Sept. 29.
As a junior in 2018-19, she averaged a score of 109.80 in seven competitions on the season. Arnold shot a season-best score of 97 in the win over Worcester State on Oct. 14.
As a sophomore in 2017-18, she averaged a score of 106.8 in seven competitions on the season. She carded a season-best round of 100 three times on the year.
As a freshman in 2016-17, she averaged a score of 106.89 in seven competitions on the season. She carded a season-best round of 97 at the Westfield State Tri-Match on April 23.
Arnold is a communications and political science major and a 2016 graduate of South Kingstown High School.
Senior Kelsey Hinchliffe (Pascoag, RI) averaged a score of 106.0 in three competitions on the season. Hinchliffe shot a season-best 100 at Westfield State with Johnson & Wales on Sept. 29.
As a junior in 2018-19, she averaged a score of 102.00 in five competitions on the season. Hinchliffe shot a season-best score of 94 in the second round of the NEIGA Championship on Oct. 22.
As a sophomore in 2017-18, she averaged a score of 108.4 in five competitions on the season. She shot a season-best 101 in the second round of the NEIGA Championship on Oct. 23.
As a freshman in 2016-17, recorded a 106.50 average in seven competitions on the season. She shot a season-best round of 99 at Wellesley Tri-Match on Sept. 10.
Hinchliffe is a youth development major with a minor in coaching and a 2016 graduate of Burrillville High School.
Junior Megan Mahan (North Andover, MA) averaged a score of 86.5 in one competition on the season. Mahan shot a season-best 83 in the second round of the Husson Invitational on Sept. 22.
Freshman Isabella Martin (Portsmouth, RI) averaged a score of 126.3 in three competitions on the season. Martin shot a season-best 118 in the second round of the Husson Invitational on Sept. 22.
