Box Score Keene, N.H.--Junior guard Sophia Guerrier (Waltham, MA) led the way for the Anchorwomen with 17 points, five rebounds, four steals and two assists as the Rhode Island College women's basketball team defeated Keene State, 57-42, in Little East action played at Spaulding Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC held a five-point, 7-2, lead at the media timeout with 4:50 to play in the first quarter. The score was even at 11 apiece after the first quarter.
• RIC saw held its largest lead of eight, 23-15, during the second quarter following a senior guard Jordyn Gauvin (Fall River, MA) jumper with 4:25 left before the halftime break.
• RIC held a three-point, 28-25, lead at halftime.
• Keene knotted the score, 28-28, on a senior forward Kenzie Bennett (Lake George, NY) three-ball with 8:53 to play in the third quarter, but the hosts were never able to pull ahead.
• The Anchorwomen by five, 41-36, headed into the final frame.
• During the fourth quarter, RIC posted its largest lead of 14, 50-36, following a steal and quick layup by Guerrier.
• The Anchorwomen would complete the season sweep of the Owls for their 11th league victory of the season.
• Gauvin finished with eight points, five rebounds and five assists. Senior forward Fataya Larry (Brooklyn, NY) registered a double-double with 11 points and 10 boards.
• Junior guard Lily Shlimon (Pelham, NH) had a team-high 12 points and grabbed four boards.

• RIC shot 44 percent (22-for-50) from the field, 38 percent (6-for-16) from three-point range and 64 percent (7-for-11) from the foul line.
• KSC shot 32 percent (17-for-53) from the field, 21 percent (3-for-14) from three-point range and 56 percent (5-for-9) from the foul line.
• Both teams grabbed 33 rebounds. KSC outscored RIC in the paint, 32-30.
