Providence, R.I.--Senior Grace Davis (Royersford, PA) led Rhode Island College on floor (9.550) as the women's gymnastics team fell to Springfield College, 186.500-181.550, in National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) East Region action held at the Murray Center on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchorwomen posted a new season-high team score of 181.550 in the setback.
• Davis, senior Kyndel Yett (Carrollton, GA) and senior Chandler Lynn (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI), along with their families, were recognized as part of Senior Day following the met.
• Davis tied for sixth on beam (8.950).
• Yett tied for third on vault (9.475) and ninth on both floor (8.875) and bars (8.500).
• Lynn finished sixth on floor (9.450).
• Freshman Kelsey Gates (Orangeville, PA) finished tied for fourth on both beam (9.200) and bars (9.000), seventh on floor (9.400) and ninth on vault (9.225) to finish first in the all-around (36.825).
• Junior Christa Vaccaro (Winthrop, MA) placed fifth on vault (9.425).
• Freshman Ali Silva (Brockton, MA) placed fifth on bars (9.050).
