Providence, R.I.--Maroon & Gold Week starts on Friday, Oct. 23 (3 p.m.) with a virtual cross country race around the RIC campus. Come support the men's and women's cross country teams as they compete in the Little East Conference Virtual Race. Fans are required to wear masks, socially distance along the course and not congregate in groups.

• The race starts at the outdoor track, runs down library road, behind the residence halls and ends up at the track (see map below). The student-athletes will run with masks on and be socially distanced throughout. Cheer the teams along the route or run the course after the team takes off!

• After the race, there will be FREE FOOD on the quad in front of The Murray Center. This event is open to everyone. Call the Athletic Department at (401) 456-8007 if you are interested in running, or for additional information.

SHOW YOUR COLORS NIGHT AT THE RECREATION CENTER IS ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23
Come to the Recreation Center on Friday, October 23 anytime between 5:30 and 9:30 p.m. for Show Your Colors Night! Donate Dollars to Charity and get a RIC shirt! The Recreation Center is open seven days a week from 5:30 - 9:30 p.m. Enjoy the free weight and cardiovascular rooms, multi-purpose studio, indoor track, basketball courts and the swimming pool!
