HOW IT HAPPENED
• Gates tied for seventh on vault (9.225), was sixth on bars (8.800), 10th on beam (8.500) and eighth on floor (9.400) to finish third in the all-around (35.925).
• Senior Kyndel Yett (Carrollton, GA) tied for seventh on vault (9.225), was seventh on bars (8.450) and finished ninth on floor (9.175).
• Senior Grace Davis (Royersford, PA) tied for eighth on beam (8.600) and finished seventh on floor (9.400).
• Freshman Alison Silva (Brockton, MA) finished seventh on beam (8.850). Junior Alison Kleinebreil (Attleboro, MA) tied for eighth on beam (8.600).
• Junior Christa Vaccaro (Winthrop, MA) and freshman Sydney Talabac (Cranston, RI) tied for ninth on vault (9.150).
