Providence, R.I.--Freshman Kelsey Gates (Orangeville, PA) finished first in the all-around (36.275) and second on floor (9.525) as the Rhode Island College women's gymnastics team fell to Brockport, 186.800-177.750, at The Murray Center on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Gates finished sixth on bars (9.050), seventh on beam (8.500) and ninth on vault (9.200).
• Senior Chandler Lynn (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) placed third on floor (9.500). It was the second highest score in her career on that event.
• Senior Kyndel Yett (Carrollton, GA) placed seventh on vault (9.425), eighth on bars (8.450) and 12 on floor (8.700).
• Senior Grace Davis (Royersford, PA) finished fifth on both beam (9.050) and floor (9.400)
• Brockport sophomore Lexi Castellaneta (Watkins Glen, NY) placed first on both vault (9.575) and floor (9.575). Junior Amy Eck (Leesburg, VA) finished first on bars (9.400). Sophomore Jensen Todd (New Hartford, NY) finished first on beam (9.425).
