    Providence, R.I.—Rhode Island College freshman Athena Sampalis (West Greenwich, RI) was named the Little East Women’s Rookie Swimmer of the Week for her performance in the Anchorwomen’s, 114-78, loss at Plymouth State on Dec. 1. It is the second time this season Sampalis has received this honor.
