    Rhode Island college freshman Megan Mahan (North Andover, MA) earned medalist honors with an 85 to lead the women’s golf team to a 374-397 win over intra-city rival Johnson & Wales in a dual match played at Alpine Country Club on Saturday afternoon.

  • NICOLE LANGELLA SELECTED TO EMPIRE 8 SPORTSWOMEN OF THE YEAR TEAM

    Rhode Island College sophomore Nicole Langella (Pembroke, MA) was the Anchorwomen’s representative on the Empire 8 Conference 2017 Women’s Golf Sportswomen of the Year Team. The Empire 8 emphasizes that "Competing with Honor and Integrity" is an essential component of a student-athlete's experience in conjunction with an institution's educational mission. Langella and the other 11 honorees have distinguished themselves and consistently exhibit the critical traits as outstanding sportswomen.
  • MAHAN & LANGELLA EARN ALL-NEW ENGLAND HONORS, TEAM TAKES THIRD AT NEIGA

    Rhode Island college freshman Megan Mahan (North Andover, MA)and sophomore Nicole Langella (Pembroke, MA) each earned All-New England honorsto lead the Rhode Island College women’s golf team to a third place finish (five teams) with a score of 781 (398, 383) at the 2017 New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Div. III Championship, held at the Captains Course (Port) on Monday afternoon.
  • MAHAN & LANGELLA EARN ALL-EMPIRE EIGHT HONORS; LEAD RIC TO SEVENTH PLACE

    Rhode Island college freshman Megan Mahan (North Andover, MA) and sophomore Nicole Langella (Pembroke, MA) each earned Second Team All-League honors as the women's golf team placed seventh (12 teams) at the 2017 Empire Eight Championship, hosted by St. John Fisher at Ballston Spa Country Club on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 14-15.

    Freshman Megan Mahan (North Andover, MA) finished in a tie for 35thplace with a 176 (93, 83) to help lead the Rhode Island College women's golf team to a ninth place finish at the George Phinney Classic, hosted by Middlebury College at the Ralph Myhre Golf Course on Satrday and Sunday afternoon.

    Rhode Island college freshman Megan Mahan (North Andover, MA)finished in a tie for 67th place with a score of 187 (95, 92) at the 2017 Mount Holyoke Invitational played at the Orchards Golf Club on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
