MEN'S TRACK & FIELD COMPETES AT MIT LAST CHANCE MEET

Cambridge, Mass. -- Several members of the Rhode Island College men's track & field team competed at the MIT Last Chance Meet, held at the Steinbrenner Track on Thursday evening.

 

THE BASICS

• There was no team scoring for the event.

 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Senior Shamar Spruill (Providence, RI) recorded a fourth place finish in the hammer (53.85m) and finished in seventh place in the discus (44.50m).

• Senior Vincent Santos (Narragansett, RI) notched a fifth place finish in the 110m hurdles (15.21).

• Senior Matthew Charles (North Providence, RI) posted a fifth place finish in the 200m (22.75).

• Senior Seth Larbi (Pawtucket, RI) recorded an eighth place finish in the shot (11.53m) and was 11th in the hammer (46.13m).

 

WHAT'S NEXT

•  The Anchormen will now wait to see who has qualified for the 2018 NCAA Div. III National Championships.
