Tyler Boisclair Leads Men's Golf at Wildcat Invitational

Cranston, R.I.--Rhode Island College junior Tyler Boisclair (West Warwick, RI) is currently tied for 15th overall as he led the men's golf team to a 17th place (20 teams) finish after day one of the 2019 JWU Wildcat Invitational, played at Cranston Country Club on Saturday.

THE BASICS
• The Anchormen carded a 343, which was good for 17th place (20 teams), while Amherst is currently in first place with a team score of 207.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Boisclair shot a 76 for the day.

• Senior Mike Caparco (Johnston, RI) shot an 84 and is tied for 72nd, while junior Evan Moore (Portsmouth, RI) is tied for 88th with an 89 on the day.

• Junior Matthew Butler (Johnston, RI) shot a 94 and is tied for 97th. Senior Victor Dumont (Riverside, RI) was tied for 99th after carding a 95.

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will play in the second round of the JWU Wildcat Invitational on Sunday, April 14.
