Boisclair & Moore Lead Men's Golf at Williams Fall Invitational

Williamstown, Mass.--The Rhode Island College men's golf team is currently in 19th place after first round action of the Williams Fall Invitational played at the Taconic Golf Club on Saturday afternoon.

THE BASICS
• The Anchormen carded a 365 which placed them 19th (20 teams), while host Williams in in first place (296).

• The par-71 Taconic Golf Club measures 6,808 yards.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Junior Tyler Boisclair (West Warwick, RI) and classmate Evan Moore (Portsmouth, RI) each shot a score of 85 to finish in a tie for 80th place.

• Senior Valmore Dumont (Riverside, RI) is tied for 96th place (96), while junior Matthew Butler (Johnston, RI) is in 99th place (99).

• Senior Nicholas Cicchese (Providence, RI) rounded out the RIC golfers, placing 101st on the day (103).

• There are a total of 104 golfers at the event.

WHAT'S NEXT
In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will play in the second round of the Williams Fall Invitational on Sunday, Sept. 23 (9 a.m.).
