Men's Golf Opens 2018-19 Season With Sixth Place Finish at Westfield State Tourney

Westfield, Mass.--The Rhode Island College men's golf team opened the 2018-19 season with a sixth place finish at Westfield State's Brett Williamson Invitational on Wednesday afternoon. The tourney was held at the Tekoa Country Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Junior Tyler Boisclair (West Warwick, RI) led the Anchormen with an 82 on the day. He tied for 14th place.

• Senior Valmore Dumont (Riverside, RI) placed 25th (89).

• Senior Victor Dumont (Riverside, RI) finished in 30th place (92).

• Junior Matt Butler (Johnston, RI) tied for 31st place (95).

• Junior Max Baker (Providence, RI) placed 38th (103).

• There were a total of 41 golfers at the event.

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will play at the Williams Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 22-23.
