Women's Gymnastics Sets Season-High Score at West Chester Tri-Meet

West Chester, Pa.--Junior Grace Davis (Royersford, PA) finished eighth on beam (9.500) as the Rhode Island College women’s gymnastics team posted their season-best score (182.825) at a tri-meet hosted by West Chester University on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Davis’ performance on beam was the highest placement by a RIC gymnast at the event. She also finished 13th (9.475) on floor.

• Senior Allie DiBiase (North Kingstown, RI) posted the third highest score in program history on floor (9.675) with a 10th place finish. She also finished tied for 11th on vault (9.400), 13th on bars (9.100), and was 17th on beam (8.425) for a fourth place all-around effort (36.600).

• Senior Miranda Murphy (Lansdale, PA) finished 14th on vault (9.300), 16th on bars (8.850), 14th on beam (8.775), 12th on floor (9.600) and was fifth in the all-around (36.525).

• Sophomore Christa Vaccaro (Winthrop, MA) tied for 11th on vault (9.400), was 14th on beam (9.025) and finished 14th on floor (9.300).

• Junior Kyndel Yett (Carrolton, GA) finished tied for 11th on vault (9.400), 18th on bars (8.750) and was 15th on floor (9.250).
