Women's Gymnastics Posts Season-Best Score in Loss at Springfield

Springfield, Mass.—The Rhode Island College women's gymnastics team posted their best team score in a 184.350-190.725 loss at Springfield on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Senior Miranda Murphy (Lansdale, PA) placed 10th on vault (9.300), fourth on bars (9.200), 11th on beam (9.325) and seventh on floor (9.550) for a second place effort in the all-around (37.375).

• Senior Allie DiBiase (North Kingstown, RI) tied for third on vault (9.550), was sixth on bars (8.975), seventh on beam (8.800) and 12th on floor (9.175) for a third place result in the all-around (36.500).

• Junior Grace Davis (Royersford, PA) finished sixth on beam (9.475) and ninth on floor (9.425).

• Sophomore Christa Vaccaro (Winthrop, MA) was fifth on vault (9.500), ninth on bars (8.675) and 11th on floor (9.325).

WHAT'S NEXT
In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) East Regional Championship, hosted by Cortland State on Saturday, March 9.
