Aiden Bolwell (Chepachet, R.I.) went 4-for- 8 with a pair of RBI and two runs scored as Rhode Island College team split a Little East twinbill vs. Plymouth State at Pontarelli Field on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE
• Junior shortstop
Parker Camelo (Bristol, R.I.) got the Anchormen going in the third frame with an RBI single to tie the ballgame at one apiece.
• Bolwell posted two RBI to rally the Anchormen in a six-run stretch between the fifth and sixth innings to take the lead by five, 7-2.
• Two runs from the Panthers in the seventh did not trouble RIC one bit as sophomore left fielder
George Threats (Cranston, R.I.) answered with a three-run homer in the bottom of the eighth to give the hosts an eight-run, 12-4, cushion.
• RIC held off one final push from the visitors in the ninth.
• Freshman pitcher
Cameron Laramee (Pascoag, R.I.) went six innings and struck out four to secure the win (2-1).
GAME TWO
• Senior right fielder
CJ Almagno (North Providence, R.I.) notched an RBI single in the bottom half of the opening frame to get the scoring going for the hosts.
• Classmate first baseman
Daniel Cascio (East Hampton, Conn.) tripled in a run, then Camelo notched RBI doubles in the fourth and sixth innings to help put RIC lead by a pair, 5-3.
• However, the Panthers found their stride in the eighth frame as they dealt the hosts seven runs to crush the Anchormen's hopes of a sweep.
• Junior pitcher
Jake Foster (Lincoln, R.I.) went 4.1 innings and came away with the loss (3-2).
• Junior center fielder
Eric Wilson (Middletown, Conn.) went 3-for-9 with two RBI and three runs scored on the day.
