Almagno Homers in, 13-1, Loss vs. No. 3 Salve Regina

Providence, R.I.--Senior right fielder CJ Almagno (North Providence, R.I.) went 2-for-4 with a solo home run as Rhode Island College fell vs. No. 3 Salve Regina,13-1, at Pontarelli Field on Thursday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Seahawks plated three runs vs. the Anchormen to open the top of the first and combined for three more runs in the fifth and sixth stanzas to post a 6-0 advantage after six innings.
 
• Almagno was able to get the Anchormen on the board with a homer and cut the team's deficit to five in the seventh frame, 6-1, but visitors finally broke the game open with seven runs in the top of the ninth.
 
• Junior shortstop Parker Camelo (Bristol, R.I.) went 1-for-4 to extend his hit streak to five consecutive contests.

• Junior pitcher Stephen Sullivan (Acton, Mass.) took the loss (1-3).
