Â
HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchormen dominated the first 45 minutes as they outshot the visitors, 11-3, but could not create separation as the game remained scoreless at the break.
Â
• It was the Owls who netted the first goal of the game, which came in the 52nd minute to stun a heavily possessive RIC side.
Â
• The hosts then started to then pepper the KSC defense with shots, including one from Santos to level the game at one apiece in the 72nd minute off a nifty pass by  junior midfielder
Nathan Capelo (Rumford, R.I.) and classmate defender
Kyle Neuendorf (Attleboro, Mass.).
Â
• Seven minutes later, after the Anchormen recorded two more shots near net from Santos, the hosts would score again with a Capelo goal and an assist from sophomore forward
Kody Poplaski (Bradford, R.I.).
Â
• Senior goalkeeper
Elhadji Ndoye (Cranston, R.I.) made four stops in between the woodwork for the win (5-3-1).
