Providence, R.I.—Rhode Island College senior Haley Oliver (Coventry, R.I.) was named the Little East Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for her performance at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 20. It is the second time this fall that Oliver has earned this honor.
Oliver finished 23rd (22:11.04) overall and was the highest-finishing Little East runner and the second-fastest Div. III competitor at the race.
Rhode Island College finished 32nd (36 teams) with a team score of 865.0. Boston University won the meet with a team score of 35.0. There were 275 runners at the race, which was a 6k.
In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the Keene State Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 4 (11 a.m.).
