Springfield, Mass.—Freshmen Domenick Sousa (Smithfield, R.I.) and Jaden Tesher (Putnam Valley, N.Y.) each earned fifth place finishes as Rhode Island College finished eighth (13 teams) at Springfield's Doug Parker Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
 
THE BASICS
• The Anchormen placed eighth (13 teams) with a team score of 58.0. Coast Guard took home the title with a team score of 167.5.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Sousa went 2-2 with a pair of decisions to finish fifth at 125 lbs.
 
• Tesher went 3-2 with two pins and a decision to finish fifth at 285 lbs.
 
•  Fifth-year Hunter Lundberg (Putnam Valley, N.Y.) went 3-2 with a technical fall and a major decision at 141 lbs.
 
• Senior Saliou Jobe (Woonsocket, R.I.) went 3-2 with a technical fall, pin and a major decision at 149 lbs.
 
• Freshman Imanol Taveras (Providence, R.I.) went 3-2 with two pins and a technical fall at 197 lbs.
 
• Senior Robert Stone (Deer Park, N.Y.) went 2-2 with a technical fall win at 125 lbs.
 
• Senior Wil Hunt (Providence, R.I.) went 2-2 with a technical fall and a major decision at 157 lbs.
 
• Senior Dillon Carter (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) went 2-2 with a pin at 165 lbs.
