Keely (Subin) Grand ’01 starred for RIC’s women’s cross country, indoor and outdoor track & field teams from 1997-01.
During her indoor track career, the sprinter earned five N.E. Alliance awards, broke several program records and led the Anchorwomen to their first and only Little East Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship in 2000. During her outdoor career, the Middletown, R.I. native earned five All-ECAC, four All-New England and 13 N.E. Alliance honors in various events. She still holds the RIC outdoor program record in the 800m (2:20.0).
She earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Rhode Island College in 2001. Grand earned a master’s degree in health communication from Emerson in 2003. She is currently self-employed as a personal trainer and wellness coach and coaches high school cross country and track & field in California.
